Traverse of sample warping machine

Where does the name "Traverse" come from?

Because when machine running, traverse device is always moving to let yarn well distributed on the beam, move left and right, back and forth, like a traveller, then we call it traverse. Currently just HRD-848 and HRD-858 these two sample warping machines have traverse device.

We know traverse is auxiliary device of beam, traverse running together with beam, and beam is a cylinder, then we can imagine the shape of traverse. Yes, it’s angle shape. One side connects to the machine, and one side the bevel edged close to beam, better fit with each other to warp.

Following let’s check the materials of traverse. The materials of traverse are purple color ceramic and metal. From the above picture, you can see the traverse has two ceramics, one ceramic has 8 holes, the other one has a big hole. As we know before, HRD-848 and HRD-858 these two sample warping machine maximum can warp 8 yarns, each yarn passes through a ceramic hole, so 8 yarns total 8 holes is enough. The other ceramic with a big hole is to collect all yarns warping onto the beam.

Why use the material ceramic?

The surface of ceramic is smooth, can protect the yarn from flying out, broken and fluffy.
