The most commonly used bobbins are 90 serie and 130 serie bobbins. The size of bobbin 90 serie is 48x140mm, the size of bobbin 130 serie is 70x210mm. The name 90 serie and 130 serie comes from braiding machine. Bobbin 90 serie matches the size diameter 90mm T shape part, and bobbin 130 serie matches the size diameter 130mm T shape part.

Braiding machines use many bobbins. Like model 16-4-90 braiding machine means the machine uses 90 serie bobbins, one machine has 4 heads, each head has 16 bobbins, so one machine need to use total 64 pieces bobbins one time, and also need some bobbin for spare, when there is bobbins damaged, can use the spare bobbins immediately, to avoid affecting the normal operation of the machine.

Except bobbins 90 serie and 130 serie, there are many other sizes bobbins, also their features and functions have differences. Currently the bobbins for our machine, maximum bobbin size is 310mm, mininmum bobbin size is 50mm. We can agjust our machines to match different bobbins. Most bobbins are used for brading machine, but also have other usages like for embroidery machine.

Bobbins also have different kinds materials. Most used material is plastic, Some bobbins’ materials are paper or metal. Paper material bobbin normal use for packing machine. Metal material bobbin normal for copper wire machine.
